Welcome to the website of the fifth Bulgarian Tolkien Festival!

The Bulgarian Tolkien Festival is an annual event, organised by Tolkien fans from all over Bulgaria. The Festival is held every summer at the History Museum of Plovdiv. Included in its schedule most often are debates, lectures, games, fan art (video clips, paintings, workshops, etc.), L.A.R.P. The most important of all, without any doubt, is the opportunity for Tolkien fans to gather together for several memorable days.

BG Tolkien Fest 2009 will take place from 05 to 07 June at Georgiady house in “Stariya grad” (the Old Town) architectural reserve. Central highlights in this year’s programme will be dance and singing performances as well as Manol Glishev's lecture on "Finn & Hengest".
